Here are some of our favourite posters from the Karachi edition of Aurat March 👏🏻✊🏼✨

خوفناک ایجنڈے کے 3 اہم ٹارگٹ بے
Anger is an emotion that our society has reserved for cis men.
They can scream, shout, punch holes in the wall, beat us black and blue over a mere slip of our tongues, murder us for serving them cold food, or violate our bodies in any other manner, and our society will still wholeheartedly accept them. In fact, it will make excuses for them.
Women and femme-presenting people, however, are not even allowed the bargain of getting angry over the relentless patriarchal abuse they face.
Apparently, we are not human enough to be allowed to get rightfully angry.
This Aurat March, we rejected this two-pronged dehumanization by creating an avenue for abuse victim-survivors to express all their pent up anger and rage.
We imprinted a long piece of white cloth with our awaaz, aik awaaz: “Tumhaara Zulm Yaad Rakha Jayega”.
The attendees in the ehtijaj expressed their rage on this cloth by leaving palm impressions dipped in red paint on it. As we left for the march, we carried this cloth over our heads to symbolize the prevalence of such abuse and our togetherness in battling it.
